I was raised in Chicago – a place where you can see the good, the bad, and always, the interesting. For many years when I walked the streets, I said to myself, “that would be a great photo!” So one day I walked in a camera store, bought a camera, and never stopped!! I truly believe it’s a photographer’s responsibility to take the photo. After that, the viewer should make what they will of that photo. No one should dictate or attempt to manipulate the viewer’s idea of what they are seeing. That is the viewer’s right.
